Established in 2006 as a designer lighting showroom in Laguna Beach, California, we have quickly evolved into a leading resource for lighting design professionals and home-owning customers alike. By providing exceptional selection, innovation, education, and service, we hope to become the leading name in intelligent lighting design. We have grown to serve the Southern California lighting market with retail locations in Orange County and Los Angeles County with the opening of our Manhattan Beach lighting store in 2013.

Our styles vary broadly, including vintage, retro-inspired, contemporary, modern, and even avant garde looks. Thanks to our superior craftsmanship and strong relationships with artists and designers throughout the industry, we’re able to offer our customers and clients unique designs that they won’t be able to find anywhere else. For those who want something completely new, we can build from your provided specifications, even if they come sketched on the back of a napkin.

At Lightopia, we have made the promotion and display of the newest advances in LED technology and eco-friendly lighting a critical component of our mission. Much more than a regular internet retailer, we continuously develop new lighting concepts to realize the specific creative vision of each client. In pursuing this goal, we have even developed our own state-of-the-art architectural LED lighting labs.
